Dr. Jamee Free is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.  She earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Montana State University Billings. She attended Campbell University in North Carolina and holds a Master of Divinity with Biblical Languages. Upon returning to Montana, Jamee completed a Master of Science in Psychology and a Master of Education in School Counseling. She earned a Doctor of Ministry with a focus on Leadership and Spiritual Formation from George Fox University in Portland, Oregon. Jamee's dissertation focused on interdisciplinary and holistic approaches to psychological and spiritual formation with an emphasis on attachment theory, as well as relational and developmentally sensitive approaches with children. It is published through George Fox University and entitled "In the Way They Should Go:  Nurturing the Relational and Spiritual Nature of Children."  Jamee has worked as a minister to youth and children, a primary therapist in a psychiatric residential treatment facility, and a clinician for a comprehensive school and community treatment program. Jamee worked within a group practice for eleven years before beginning her own practice in August of 2021.  Jamee treats depression, anxiety, PTSD, stress, self-harm, attachment issues, and behavioral difficulties. Jamee has special training in attachment theory, brain and childhood development, Animal-Assisted Therapy (AAT/AAA), Interpersonal Neurobiology, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Neurologically Informed Cognitive Behavior Therapy, pastoral care, theological counseling and Christian counseling. Jamee offers individual and family therapy for children and adolescents.
